about daily portion…

He has the most unusual ways of revealing Himself to me – in the smallest little tidbits of life. Whether its a memory from childhood, my own children’s mischief, in my kitchen, or when my feet are pounding pavement; He is there.  My daily portion is my Heavenly Father.  and over and over again He is more than enough.

Let me tell you about it…

You are my portion, O LORD; I have promised to obey your words. I have sought your face with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise. Psalm 119:57-8

  1. YAY!!! Sooo excited that you’ve decided to do this…in all your spare time : ) But the way you are with words and the connections and applications you make with Scripture, know that lives are being touched by the Spirit because of His work through you!
    I’ll be your blogging groupy!

  2. Melody, I am so thankful you started blogging….I’ve been convinced for some time that this is part of God’s plan for your life. I know it will be a blessing to the body of Jesus Christ…and that brings Him great pleasure. I’m very proud of you !

  3. Melody: Your blog postings are great! Each word resonates with your love for our Lord Jesus Christ and your family. You have a great gift and I’m thankful you are sharing it with the rest of us.

  4. I left a comment about the beatitudes song believing you were the author of the song but it was a lady named Mandy, not Melody. However, glad you found it and used it and blessed the Lord with it. I just found the music and hope to praise our Lord with as much ferver and joy as it seems you have. Blessings!

    1. Thank you Katrina! So sorry about the misunderstanding! Glad you found a chart- here’s hoping you all are able to enjoy the song and sing it for His glory! It really is a favorite with the kids at our church! Blessings!
